A two days training workshop in collaboration with Muslim Hands on Water Quality Testing using “DelAgua Kit, Chlorine testing kit and Arsenic testing kit” was conducted at PCRWR (NCBI auditorium), Islamabad from 3-4 October, 2023. Muslim Hands is a UK based relief and development organization established in 1993, and is registered with Ministry of Interior, Govt. of Pakistan. Muslim Hands is a non-profit organization and having offices in Punjab, KP, Sindh, Baluchistan & Azad Kashmir. The aim of the training was to strengthens the capacity of their regional field staff as well as the country office teams on “DelAgua kit”, Arsenic testing kit and Chorine tesing kit. PCRWR and Muslim Hands altogether conducted the training sessions covering the didactic sessions and hands on practice on all kits (DelAgua kit, Chlorine and Arsenic kits) to build the capacity of 25- staff members including regional offices WASH team and country office WASH team. At the end of the training session, concluding remarks were given by the Director General (WQ) PCRWR, Dr. Hifza Rasheed and Country Director, Syed Zia ul Noor from Muslim Hands Pakistan and training certificates were distributed among them.
