The Parliamentary Secretary for Water Resources, Ms. Rana Ansar, visited the Pakistan Council of Research in Water Resources (PCRWR) Headquarters, Islamabad today. She was warmly received by Dr. Hifza Rasheed, Director General (Water Quality), along with senior PCRWR officials.
During the visit, Dr. Hifza Rasheed delivered an in-depth presentation on the core functions, ongoing activities, and key achievements of PCRWR. The presentation highlighted PCRWR’s pivotal role in addressing pressing water-related challenges, including water scarcity, water quality management, and climate resilience strategies.
Ms. Rana Ansar commended PCRWR’s efforts and acknowledged its critical contribution to tackling water-related issues at the national level. She emphasized that both water scarcity and water quality are pressing global challenges that require technical expertise and innovative solutions. She expressed her appreciation for PCRWR’s dedicated work in these sectors and encouraged further advancements in research and policy development to address these concerns effectively.
