A Delegation of Korean Experts Visited PCRWR Headquarter under the Project “Establishment of Groundwater Recharge/Rainwater Harvesting Ponds for Flood prevention, Mitigation and Preparedness in districts Multan and Muzaffargarh of Punjab province of Pakistan” On 23rd October, 2023. Dr. Hifza Rasheed, Director General, PCRWR briefed the Korean delegation about the current research activities and technologies/techniques developed by PCRWR. The Korean experts visited the Recharge well, Wetlands for wastewater treatment and Rain water harvesting system installed at PCRWR and Kachnar park. In this connection the delegation with PCRWR’s experts will visit the Multan and Muzaffargarh to check the feasibility for the installation of Rainwater Harvesting Ponds for Flood prevention.
