Islamabad: Rainwater may become an important source of water if harvested through different simple management techniques. That includes; storing rooftop rainwater into surface and subsurface storage tank to use in lawn irrigation or to divert this rainwater into groundwater recharge. This method of groundwater recharge will be more effective if adopted at small scale. Taking on this concept, Behbud Association of Pakistan approached PCRWR to conduct one day training workshop on Training Workshop on Rainwater Harvesting for Irrigation and Groundwater recharge.
